Access Faculty Portal as Any Instructor

Act As Faculty

In order to assist instructors, the Administrator can “Act As” any instructor via the IASystem™ faculty portal.

Note: By default, only users with the IASystem™ role of Administrator have the “Act As Faculty” privilege.  Administrators can assign this privilege to other users by creating a Custom Role.

1.  Navigate to your campus IASystem™ faculty portal URL directly or select
the Faculty Portal Link in the administrative interface help menu.

2. When the IASystem™ faculty portal web page opens, login information
is displayed in the top right corner of the web page.

3.  Administrators, or custom roles that include the “Act as Faculty” action,
can enter a faculty username in the text input box and select the “Act As”
button to enter the faculty portal as that user.

4.  Once logged in as a particular instructor, an Administrator will see the
Instructor’s name displayed with their own information below in parentheses.
