IASystem™1.14 includes changes to report text, a new Combined Course Summary Report, a new instructor email notification indicating an instructor can access their Course Summary Report when the evaluation is closed and the Reports Available date has been met, and updated the Faculty Portal to display an entire listing of an instructor’s course evaluations.

Features & Fixes

  • Reports Text Changes:  Clarifications on the labels for statistical calculations. For example, Median is now labeled Combined Median, consistent with the language in the IASystemInterpreting Reports User Guide.
  • New Combined Course Summary Report: In the IASystem™ administrative application, users can now select Results, Reports and generate a Combined Course Summary Report for a particular time span, college, subcollege, department or course. A Combined Course Summary Report can also be generated for a specific instructor.
  • New Instructor Email Notification: When an evaluation is closed and the Reports Available date has been met, the system will send instructors an email letting them know they can access their Course Summary Report. The new email template is located in the Coordinator User Guide.
  • Fixed Reporting of Historical Paper-Based Evaluation Data: For clients who previously used the legacy IAS paper-based services and converted to IASystem™, reporting of historical paper-based evaluation data has been corrected.
  • Fixed Select All check-box on the Select Courses page when creating online or paper evaluations.
  • Removed Term Filters on the Faculty Portal Homepage:  Rather than selecting to/from terms in order to display an instructor’s course evaluations, the faculty portal homepage now automatically displays all course evaluations for that instructor in reverse chronological order.
