Release Notes 1.16
IASystem™1.16 includes minor changes to Form G in order to better align the global questions with other standard IASystem™ forms, improved term ordering and dashboard support for multiple concurrent terms, extended character support for first and last names, and a clarifying semantic change to an online response choice.
Modifications & Fixes
- Form G changes: In the first four questions (summative section) items 3 & 4 have been updated to align with the other global, summative items on standard IASystem™ forms. Here are the changes:
Previous Item 3: “The Instructor overall was”
New Item 3: “The instructor’s contribution to the course was”
Previous Item 4: “The instructor’s contribution to your understanding of concepts and ideas”
New Item 4: “The instructor’s effectiveness in teaching the subject matter was”
- Improved Term Ordering and added support for Multiple Concurrent Terms: Improved chronological term ordering and updated dashboard to support toggling between multiple concurrent terms when they exist.
- Extended Character Support for First and Last Names: We have modified the institutional data upload templates to support longer first and last names. The allowable characters for both were extended from 30 to 50 characters.
- Updated Response Choice: For online evaluations, we updated the response choice for the question, “In regard to your academic program, is the course best described as:”
