Release Notes 1.15
IASystem™1.15 includes additional PDF options while generating Course Summary Reports, ability for an Administrator to lock the terms dates for opening/closing evaluations and faculty reports available date, and the optional ability to have system generated confirmation emails sent to students when they submit a course evaluation. Ability for an Administrator to access the IASystem™ faculty portal as an instructor was also added on 10/16/15 (see below).
The IASystem™ Coordinator and Administrator User Guides have been updated to reflect these changes.
Features & Fixes
- New PDF Option for Course Summary Reports: Users in the IASystem™ administrative interface can now generate multiple course summary reports as either a single PDF that contains all selected reports or have the new ability to generate a zipped folder that contains separate PDFs for each course evaluation summary report.
- Ability to Lock Evaluation Dates in Term Management: In the IASystem™ administrative application, Administrators can now “Lock” the evaluation open & close dates and the instructor reports available date so that users creating or editing evaluations cannot modify these dates.
- Optional Confirmation Email Sent upon Evaluation Submission: Institutions can now have the system send a confirmation email to students when they submit their course evaluation. - Minor Fixes: Dashboard and System Users pages had filtering issues that have been fixed. Improved institutional data file email address validation allows ASCII characters per RFC822 specifications.
- Created “Act As Faculty” feature for IASystem™ Administrator level users (added 10/16/15): In order to assist instructors, users with the role of Administrator can “Act As” any instructor via the IASystem™ faculty portal. Details can be found in the Administrator PDF guide or online guide.
