IASystem 2.01 Release Notes
New Features & Modifications
Release 2.01 includes new features and modifications for the administrative and faculty portals. In the administrative portal we have added a PDF option when previewing online forms; improved validation when creating evaluations using the Bulk Uploader; updated the evaluation “set up by” timestamp to reflect the client’s local time zone; and, retained the sorting options when creating evaluations using the step-by-step process. In the faculty portal, the Survey ID number is now being displayed along with the other course evaluation details.
Changes for the IASystem™ Administrative Portal:
- Add PDF Option to Preview Online Forms: A client feature request was to offer a PDF preview option for viewing online forms. In the Manage → Online Forms section of the administrative portal, users can now generate a PDF preview of both standard and custom IASystem™ online evaluation forms.
- Improved Validation when Creating Evaluations Using the Bulk Uploader: Updated validation rules to allow requests for joint courses for different instructors in the same file.
- View Evaluations “Set up by” Timestamp to reflect Local Time Zone: When viewing evaluations, the “set up by” column in the “Other” tab show the date and time when a user created the evaluation. This timestamp has been updated to display time according to an institution’s local time zone.
- Preserve Sorting when Creating Evaluations: On the Create Evaluations → Select Courses page, users can sort the list of courses using different variables. When a user sorts the list of courses and chooses “Continue” to navigate to the next page, Define Evaluations, the sort order is retained.
Changes for the IASystem™ Faculty Portal:
- Add Survey Number to the Faculty Portal: On the Faculty Dashboard in the “Other” tab, faculty users can now see the Survey ID number that is also displayed to administrative users.
